Hi, there! I’m glad you’re here. I know first-hand that finding the right therapist can be the most difficult part of the counseling process. If you think that I may be a good fit to support you on your healing journey, please reach out so we can chat! I offer free 15-minute phone consultations to get to know one another before committing! Here’s a little about me:

I work with young children and adults. I am passionate about the human process of learning, healing, and evolving! While I work across the lifespan, I have found that people of all ages heal when met with warmth, authenticity, and empathy. As a counselor, I work from a humanistic lens. Therapy with me often looks like focusing on your entire self (not just your problems or symptoms), highlighting your strengths, implementing skills that work well for you, and exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences together.

My therapeutic work consists of supporting adults who are navigating through life and relationship transitions. Life changes, even the good ones, can be difficult to face alone. Supporting my clients as they adjust, reorient, and often find themselves again, is truly an honor. I also work with adults who experience overwhelming stress, self-esteem issues, and high-functioning anxiety.

I work with young children aged 3-7 addressing cognitive, behavioral, and emotional challenges through Play Therapy. Play Therapy is an effective and systematic mental health approach in which the “language” of the child, play, is used to express themselves and resolve their problems. I believe that parents are the primary experts on their child, and I value partnering closely with them during the Play Therapy process.

I have a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I also received a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy and am currently earning the Registered Play Therapist credential. I am a National Certified Counselor and have experience in community and nonprofit settings.
