Elizabeth’s undergraduate degree in psychology is from the University of South Florida in Tampa, and a Master’s Degree in Psychology (Marriage & Family Therapy focus) from Our Lady of the Lake University, Houston Campus. Elizabeth has experience working in a clinical, school and non-profit settings and is receiving supervision under Michael Pontello, LMFT-S.

While my training was focused in Strengths-Based therapy models such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Collaborative Language Systems, therapy is not a one-size-fits-all. We will work together to find what works best for you (and what works may change with time and progress) and moves you toward the goals that have brought you here. Strengths-Based therapy focuses on the individual’s strengths and abilities and uses those resources to empower the client on their journey addressing what brought them to therapy.

During our time together, some days will be harder than others as you work through challenging or traumatic experiences, emotions like depression and anxiety, or behaviors you want to change... and at times there will be tears and frustration. But as you do the work, there will also be times of joy and celebration. I will be there walking alongside you with guidance and support.

I am honored to help people optimize their mental health by integrating the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of their well-being, in order to live the lives they hope for.
